The bottle is full to the brim in Beckman Street's buzzing cafe
An authentic wood oven imported from Italy, monthly live music nights and a prime location within a few steps of tram stop 8 are the key ingredients in The (not so) Empty Bottle’s recipe for success.

Family owned and operated by the experienced Harrison crew, the coffee machine is cranked from 8.00am most days with a solid brekky line-up including Granola Parfait, house made Banana Bread, eggs-galore and of course the staple Avo-licious which comes highly recommended by us. Add Hahndorf bacon… ok, and haloumi.
Lunch? Burgers, salads, focaccias, wraps, lasagne, soup, chips – they’re all here waiting to satisfy your midday cravings.
The super reasonably priced wood fired pizzas and antipasto or grazing platters make a perfect dinner choice if you’re tramming it in to the city or on your way home from after work festivities, complemented by a selection of largely South Australian wines or beer.
A ‘Little Ones’ menu and a recently added play area will ensure the kiddies are kept amused long enough for you to sneak a squiz at the sweets, but maybe not long enough for you to decide which dessert pizza to order (relax, they both have Nutella).
If you’ve spent all your funds on emptying bottles, keep a lid on it, a quick trip to the recycling depot will have filled your pockets enough to cash in on a $16 Sunday Special and maybe even a famous ‘The Bottled Iced Coffee’. Go on, order a large (just our 10 cents’ worth).
Whoever said happiness couldn’t be found at the bottom of an empty bottle?
